I bought a NMFSH sheath from Eric at Mashed Cat and wanted to have a ESEE clip plate attached instead of the drop loop and thigh strap I originally ordered. I called up Eric and sent him some pics of what I was wanting. He had me send him the sheath and with in a week I had it back with the mod.

I love it! It keeps the knife closer to my side and it sits just fine for me on my Wilderness Instructors belt. I spent part of yesterday and today outside and it wears great on the side. It keeps the knife from flopping around and you can sit comfortably with it too.

Thanks Eric for doing this for me. I think this should be an option on other sheaths. I can see ordering a TGLB sheath with this clip. ;)

Looking great - I have had Mashed Cat Outfitters make a custom sheath for my Strider SA-L and can't recommend them enough. Excellent work and great communication!
 
Eric, is known to be innovative and make an outstanding tank of a sheath!!!:thumbup:;) Great job again Eric and congrats PMC...
 
Another great work from Eric. He is my goto guy for all my Kydex sheaths.
