The Mason Dixon knife show will be held in Hagerstown at the end of the month. Friday April 26th and Saturday April 27th.

The show will be held at the Best Western Grand Venice hotel in Hagerstown, MD. This show is comprised of a few dealers and members of the Mason Dixon knife club, based out of State Line PA. It is a small show, the Buck collectors club sets up. Dealers from up and down the east coast set up, however, no companies are represented except Queen, and only one custom maker that I saw last year. This show is actually much better than the Frederick shows in the past, and this is in a hotel, not the outdoors market at the Frederick fairgrounds. Still, lots of blades and good people. Heavily geared towards old timey slipjoints and fixed blades.

If anyone wants to meet up at the show, let me know. I am planning on getting there early, I want to hit Washington Monument SP in Boonsboro, a certain knife shop in Frederick, and both Wonderbooks stores in Hagerstown and Frederick.

Wow, the show wasn't too bad last year, but this year it tanked! I got there late, happens when you get home that morning about 3am. Everyone was setting up to head home, a fair amount of out of town dealers. I was able to pick up a Queen made Robeson barlow with sawcut bone scales similar the Burke collaborations and two Imperial stockmans, one with a bail (?).

Later at a local knife shop, I picked up two Opinels. Unsure about the model numbers, but one was pretty big, the other might have been a 7 or 8.

Wish you had bumped this thread on Thursday, I had no idea this was happening. Is the local knife shop in Hagerstown or are you referring to the one in Frederick?

Frederick, but a buddy told me that a shop USED to be in Hagerstown. The shop in Frederick is not a dealer member, so I will not mention him.

You weren't the only one that didn't know it was happening. One of the dealers told me it was all over tv (local tv), and in Knifeworld. That's all well and good, but no internet ads?

Woodrow, I have a lot of pics to take, hopefully tonight. I'll post pics of my haul tonight or tomorrow. The bone on these Imperials is outstanding!

They're doing it again next year, I think they signed an agreement with the hotel for a 5 year contract. So, three more years at that hotel.
