Mass Drop Gent Blade Length?

Hi all,
I live in an area that has an under 3" blade restriction. I recently acquired the Mass Drop Gent Select (carbon fiber version). Although Mass drop lists the blade length as 3.0", I keep measuring 2.9" no matter how many times I measure. You can see why this matters to me, as the 0.1" differential is the difference between legal and not legal to carry. Has anyone else measured their Gent's blade? What are the measurements you're getting? I'm measuring from the most forward aspect of the handle to the tip of the blade and coming up with 2.9" every time. Really would appreciate some help by hearing what other's have measured. Not sure if the standard G10 Gent and Gent Select have the same blade length, but I would imagine so?

Carry what you want, don't let them keep ya down, who the f cares about 0.15".
 
if you live in a place with knife laws as silly as that........I seriously doubt they are gonna exempt the 0.1" .....meaning if 3" is illegal there, they're gonna call it 3" and illegal. I'll bet it can be measured to be 3" far as da, judge and maybe jury is concerned. so dont carry it. not worth some felony, if that's the punishment where ya are? stick with obvious legal sizes such as 2" that cannot be confused or mismeasured. not worth the risk of maybe losing voting or firearm owning rights and headaches and costs of lawyers etc. that's my advice......

And of course if you tick off the cop enough for him to burn you by calling it 3 he will find something else anyway
