I was given this today from someone on my mail route. It is a massive “hobo” knife. I was hoping someone could clue me in on a brand or maker. I don’t see any marks yet- but I am still cleaning it. I will try to upload more pics.

I seriously doubt you are going to get an ID on that one. It looks just like one I had when I was a kid. Mine was a cheap, made in Japan by who knows "camping knife".

That one seems like a US made older knife. Seems to be mild steel bolsters, pinned, not shell construction. Nicely jigged real bone, if my eyes don't deceive me.

I am not any kind of expert. But it seems older. Although the spoon and fork seem stainless.

Some one will probably drop in with actual info.

I can post better pics. I want to take a brush to it and see if I can find any maker marks or branding.
If you ask me it looks hand made. The pins aren’t perfect and it looks like the bone cuts (for the spoon and fork) are rough.

Here's my VERY first knife. Received on my 5th bday. All stamped from soft metal with very little edge cleanup/deburring. The only identifying mark is a stamped "JAPAN".
