Hey fellas, as you probably know from Jaxx's post...we had a massive storm here in PA a few days back. Insane winds, downpours, and even tornado touch downs which rarely happens. I am maintaining a beautiful property for some folks who are in Spain at the moment, and they had some serious damage done to their gardens! This was the perfect opportunity to try out my favorite chopper...the FFBM. I just recently aquired a new FFBM from my friend BabyFace and it was everything I remembered (used to have one...sold it:(). There is no doubt in my mind that this is and always will be my favorite chopper.

When I was younger, my old man and I used to do a lot of wood projects together. He used to say "don't smash the nail, let the hammer do the work for you!" This is exactly the case with the FFBM; just a beautiful piece of thick high quality steel. The FFBM was the reason I got hooked in to this INFI addiction. I chopped through every tree which I did not use the chainsaw for, and the knife is still sharp as hell. I threw in here a few pictures to show the extent of the damage, and the work I was able to accomplish with my chainsaw and the FFBM. I am not a bloody photographer, but I wanted to express my appreciation for the FFBM. A hard use tool for hard jobs...nough said. Have a safe and happy summer everyone.

Stripped! An excellent job with dimples left in! Sorry I didn't get better action pictures guys, but quick was the word and sharp was the action. Lots of work to do still...

Cool Brendan, glad to hear your enjoying the FFBM she is quite the chopping machine. Well looks like you've got your work cut out for you.
Be careful and have a good time, and thanks for sharing.

Look like a whole lot of Bonfire wood, should be dry enough for a nice Labor Day Fire. Glad you guys are AOK from the storms....

Wow, brother...That's some cleanup work right there!!! Perfect Busse weather. ;) Nice pix, man!

Ummm... WHERE is the B11?????????? :D

BTW, I heard that the sustained straight-line winds associated with this storm line were approximately 76 mph... ...That wind speed (+/-) would approximately equate it to a low-end Cat. 1 hurricane (minimum sustained winds = 75mph) and a low-end F1 Tornado (minimum sustained winds = 73 mph)!!

...Just with no spin and over 50 miles long!

You made a dent in the mess, that's for sure.

I'm probably jinxing myself by saying this, but this is the first summer in a while where there hasn't been a tree snapped by the wind or hit by lightning. Hard to believe since all the piss poor weather.

Then again, the house did get struck (or close to it) by lightning bout a month back, fried some electrical stuff...

Oh, nice mistress by the way, hope mine turns out like that when I strip her.

Holy Smokes Brendan, you did get a mess out of it!!! Good pics regardless Bro.
Good ole FFBM...

Do the people you're maintaining the property for know they have fresh landscaping yet?

My guess is they will be glad they got you to care for their property now.

Very nice job....

Les.
