Does any of you know Master Chief Busse?

Cheers,

Chees&Rice!!! Too cool! I didn't know Jerry had that type of elite lineage!

André, that's a beautiful pic you've got there. You make me jealous on your piece of INFI.

That is one badass MOFO!!! And the knife to. :D

I've met a few Master Chief Seals and they are definitely not the people you want to mess with.

Hey, please email me off line about this photo. There are SEVERAL things that aren't quite right on that uniform... Get in touch with me at your earliest convenience.

Not the least of which is the reversed US flag!

Rick

The flag is typically reversed on the right shoulder. Didn't make sense to me at first either, but it's supposed to be the way you would see it if it was flying. Still doesn't quite make sense, but that's the way it is.

Since I haven't gotten a response, I'll clarify my post a bit. NO SEAL would EVER put any warfare insignia above his Trident, EVER. I won't go all out and call this guy a fake yet, since I don't know the story behind the photo. It could be just that, a photo made to look cool and the person arranging the items didn't know what they were doing. But, I will know tommorow morning if there is any active duty SEAL named Busse. The fact that he is assigned to a MDSU is also extremely suspect.

Hopefully there is a innocent answer behind all this, but we get phonies all to often. There are a couple of websites dedicated to exposing guys who claim to be former SEALS, SF, Rangers etc... It would make you sick to read some of the stories. Guys make some real personnal profit off of the sacrifices of others.

Please let me know what the story is with the photo. IF the guy is a fake, and holding a position of authority based on false credentials, he should be exposed.

Thanks.

Hey, maybe he's just a really big Charlie Sheen fan, or plays a lot of volleyball and figures that qualifies him :D

The Union is always forward on a uniform or helmet, regardless of the sleeve it's sewn onto, as the flag would flutter to the rear as you advance into battle.

Thanks, now that makes sense :)

Hmm. Having never worn a US flag on my own Navy uniforms, I had never heard that.
The Boy Scouts don't follow that convention, which is why it caught my eye (I'm a Webelos leader).

I think the airforce where it forward. At least I've seen some wearing it that way around here, but who knows they also go around wearing baseball caps and sneakers.

Its a mandatory part of the uniform for the ARMY BDU and ACU for the flag to be on the right shoulder on the right side. It goes back to the colors being lead into battle. The flag would fly back since it was raised and being ran with to lead the way and rally the soldiers. Its a relatively new thing, about 2-3 years old tradition to do for every uniform.

There was a Chief Petty Officer Busse in the US Navy. . . . My dad. . . World War II . . . NOT a SEAL but a great, great man!

Gentlemen HOGS

This suit was made for entertainment purpose only. IT IS NOT A SEALS SUIT.
I like to take pictures of knives and also like to set-up shots like this.
The name is with Velcro and I have other knife names so that I can use the set up again.
I am sorry that I did not get back to you sooner with this information.
I an a Danish Deep sea diver, navy trained, and thought that a USN Deep sea diver suit would be cool.
I know that a seal properly would both have a jump wing above his trident /Budweiser most seals are HALO certified anyway.
I wanted to make a funny story about Master Chief Busse and his navy carrier from seal team two to mobile unit det. 419 where Chief Busse became Master Diver and also attached to USN experimental diving unit.

I tried to make the patches right but have obviously made some mistakes.
Please correct me.
I think the reverse flag is right Ja? I only have the regulations book of the Army and did not know where the Master Diver patch should be. I think they are sometimes worn on the sleeve.

Maybe I should have made Master Chief INFI instead.

Cheers,

André

Easy day Andre. I'll hit you up offline as to how to set the uniform up, if you'd like. To date, I don't believe there has ever been a Master Diver SEAL. Two very different jobs. The two are both so specialized that they would probably never cross.

Thanks for clearing the air, I had hoped it was just a photo, not an imposter.

Boss Hog's Dad was a Navy Chief huh? Well, Hooyah! Is that why you have a soft spot for us Squids?
