Armand,

That MS proto set is sweet. ITE, you should contact the seller and get the whole story on those....(Are the blades BG-42?) That set needs it's story told...proto set, Lunch box set...ect, ect, and so on.

Thanks JB, I did try to get a hold of her... But I think she moved to AZ... She worked for Buck for 26 years in sales, and in the custom shop and where ever they needed her... The Blades are not marked anywhere BG-42... She did say they were either a sample or a prototype Set... I hope that good... Its the only set I know of, like it... But I'm sure there could be more... I was just at the right place at the right time....

Hi ITE,

IMHO samples, proto's and the over runs are harder to come buy than the issue set. I have 3 of the MS stamped knives, 119 that had to much yellow in the green handle and was not sold as part of the Master series, I also have a 110 and 192 over runs green without the checkering in the green handles and no MS medallions.

JB4570, do you have any pic of the 119 with to much yellow in or on the green handle???
I would like to see that one for sure.... I don't have any of the over run handle ones yet... But I'm working on it...

JB, thanks for the pics... Great looking knives... ... That 119 is very nice and the 192 is great too... ... Love all the stags...   ....

Thanks,
ITE
