Masters of Defense good or bad?

How is the quality of Masters of Defense knives(MOD)? Specifically this knife?

Is blade play common?

i wouldnt think play was common in any MOD knife myself, they are all pretty good knives, only cons is the old ones the blade coating sucked, other than that pretty good. they dont seem to be as popular as spyderco/
/bm/EKI, there customer service is good, they are about on par imho w/microtech quality wise, i personally am not crazy about the designs, but i have a couple of them, FWIW, best way to describe for me is "ok"

I see from the picture that you're looking at auto's. With MOD's try to find one of the older more established models as their newer ones, IMO have comparitively weak springs.
