Anyone have one of these, or have had one- seems like a decent knife good steel... Anyways, found one really cheap local and was wondering if it'd be worth picking up

Thanks for your opinions

Never even heard of m.o.d. Until now lol

Not a bad necker. It was designed with some aggressive capabilities but should be a decent small utility.

Masters of Defense had some really great knives. I still have a few. They got bought out a few years ago and the new owners put out less expensive versions.

Ah... It's an older one I'm pretty sure- seems like a good small knife- I love tiny fixed blades when I can find good ones for cheap

First taste of 154cm
(when I said cheap I mean under 30 bucks cheap- good deal)

I had one a while back. It's light weight, definately more of a weapon than utility design, but I'm sure it'll cut what you need it to. Mine was somewhat hard to get a good edge on. I was even less skilled at sharpening then than I am now though. I seem to recall it having a pretty thick edge. I'd say some cordage for the handle will probably be the way to go too.
I remember there being some fake ones out there too, so use some judgement when buying it. I don't think the fake ones were marked like the real ones, so it hopefully wouldn't be too hard to tell in pictures.

By the way, $30 would be a steal. I also had a MOD Caracara too, and it was one of the nicest frame-locks I've ever owned.

I'm getting it- I'll be picking it up this weekend

I think I'll be able to tell if it's real or not

I won't have a problem the edge- I can get atleast a working edge on anything

Will post my opinion when I get it!
