The knife comes in a nice cardboard box, prinmted in black silver and red in relief.
All sides bring a cautionary "WARNING - SHARP BLADE!".
If somebody needs that warning, he'd better not purchase such a knife.
The knife itself comes with a pouch sheath that can be carried both in vertical and horizontal position (my favoured one).
The knife is made in tough aeronautic aluminum alloy, finely bead blasted and gray anodized, with two knurled rubber insets. The satined aluminum and knurled rubber grant a vise grip. The clip is for TD carry, the knife protrudes only slightly from the pocket. For a knife this "bad", I'd have preferred a more discreet carry, but it's a small problem.
The blade is grey bead blasted 154CM stainless steel, sharp as a lightsaber.
The blade is reasonably sized even for heavy chores without being cumbersome.
The lock is extremely solid and fluid. The blade can be popped open with extreme ease, and locks with the finest "clack" sound.
The stud is ambidextrous and when open contrasts with the "bolsters". The blade has no play when open and is well centered in the grip when closed. The knife has an opening on the upper side that allows for ease of cleaning.
The steel is very hard, keeps a very good edge for a long time.
On the down side it's prone to rusting. The sandblasted finish doesn't help here.
On the whole a hell of an utility knife. Unfortunately it's price in Italy is prohibitive. It costs about 300, or 330$
Still, I liked it and bought it all the same.
