if you can get at least 2 sets of good bark slabs out of it your doing OK I'd say. how you cut will make the difference of what you get out of it..
what size is the stuff?

I have never posted anything on the forum, so I hope this will show up and be of some help. Fine Tunage Productions on ebay carries some nice Mastadon if you are in the market for some. I have had dealings with him several times and have been pleased with his product. You might want to check it out.

Charles Turnage the #1 seller of mammoth ivory on ebay lives 15min from me. He is great to deal with and has some great mammoth.

George,
Are those pics of the interior or the bark of the ivory, it looks like the interior.? How thick is it?
You should look for the bark for scales, it usually has the best color.

I bought some scales from Charles at Blade show West and they are top notch. I would definately recommend his product.
