Matched knife set

Picked up a new set of knives from kc2mvc (Doug) DPknives hunter and companion hunter.
Hunter is 4 1/8" blade 8" over all, companion hunter is 4 1/8" blade 7 3/4" overall. Thanks Doug =).

Looks like an excellent pair of knives to take to the bush or on a hunting trip. The workmanship looks to be very good. What kind of wood was used for the handle?
