The block is 7 1/4" x 7 3/4" x 1 1/4", and the knife is 7 3/4" overall and 3 1/4" edge length.
Flatground, 1080 steel.

WOW I would love to find a chunk of walnut that big for a chopping block! (and it not cost a fortune! ;) ) My cousin turned a large walnut pepper grinder for me for Christmas and I love it. Walnut has a color that is just wonderful!
