Hey everybody
These knives are for an order i have been working on. it started as just one curved kiridashi for marking and light chisel work, and then turned into a matching set of left and right. They are 1095 with Madacassar ebony handle and peened brass pins. They needed sheaths so the new owner could carry them around in his pocket as he apparently doesn't like belts. The sheaths are some of the first leather sheaths i have actually liked. You know what they say... practice makes perfect.

You know for as simple as a kiridashi is I love them and these have to be some of the better ones ive seen! some people seem to just "throw" one together and not finish them out which is fin too but not many people make a nice package like you have. Hell you make me wanna try a nice little kiridashi!

They look like they would perform VERY well. If the customer carries both of them at the same time, I think a double sheath would be cool.

very easy on the eyes Chris.
See, making sheaths ain't that bad- just takes a little time to learn.
A knife maker who also makes decent sheaths for their own knives brings a lot to the table.

As clean as your knives are, I imagine that with a little practice your sheaths will be exceptional as well.
Nice work!

Thanks guys!
i am really glad you like them! i really liked how they turned out too. As far as sheaths go.. i am going to get to practice on a large sheath here in just a few days, so we will see how that goes!
thanks
~Chris
