Mathews, Small and "Coop"

This knife was made by Charlie Mathews at Twin Blades, deep relief engraving by Jim Small and the picture was taken by Jim "Coop" Cooper. It has about a 5'' blade of CPM S30V, stainless bolsters and pins, and an African black wood handle. The tang is tapered.

Love the deep relief engraving. Really take the class of this piece over the top. Love the fact that it has such a nice feature on what is actually a very practical blade design. A lot of the art knives are based on blade designs that would serve very little practical purpose. This knife seems to pay homage to the users of this world.
