Matriarch - any broken tips?

I'm thinking of buying a Matriarch. Has anybody broken the tip on their Matriarch? I know it's purpose-built, and not for utility.

Yes. Like an idiot I was doing some "drills" while a little bit 'faced, and the tip made contact with my apartment door. A little bit broke off (and I do mean a <b>little</b> bit. That tip is stronger than I expected!) I just carefully re-profiled the spine side of the tip with a Dremel using a fine sanding drum and it honestly looks 99% as good as new except for the fact that the spine finish is a little shinier up near the tip from the work. I keep my Civilian safe and sound in it's pouch so that similar incidents do not occur with it.

Let that be a lesson to you not to practice while 'faced. Mine is still intact, but I do not use it for anything. Its waiting for that time that may never come where it has to risk its life to save mine.
