matriarch/police 'stamped' model questions

hi - am looking at a couple of spydies for sale - a matriarch and a police model - one is stamped SEAL team and one is stamped FBI - question - is this something spyderco would have done (stamping the seal on the blade) or would the individual or organisation stamp it? all info appreciated.....i'm think ing of trading for one of them, and dont really know a darned thing about this particular option on a spydie - is it common? uncommon?

We (SPYDERCO) do special engraving runs at times for groups like the seals or fbi. Sound like a sweet offer. I do diamond drag engraving here at sfo and we have done those emblems for about all gov. agency's at one time or another. Hope this info helps.
