IMHO Kiku Matsuda is one of the hot tipps of knivemakers yet to gain the fame they deserve. He adapted one of his designs, the Hornet for
reverse grip, edge in techniques such as the ones taught by SouthNarc, which excel at close quarters range. However due to its double edge,
it is also suitable for standard/forward grip. As I think SouthNarc's approach is one of the most realistic when it comes to defense situations
(in fact he is the authority when it comes to pre-fight tactics & extreme close quarters stuff) I added the Hornet RG to my EDC stuff
immediately after receiving it. It complements the Spyderco P'kal ideally as its carried on the left side horizontally.
