Matt's been knocking out exceptional fixed blades for sometime now and I've got a couple but for those that don't know, he makes a GREAT folder in several styles and materials.

One's a frame-lock done up in Ti and CPM154, the other with a liner-lock done in Ti, G10, and W2 with Hamon....had to have one of those, too! ;)

Flip great, lock up like a vault, perfect edc-sized.....

I have a couple of Matt's small fixed-EDCs. Didn't know he was making folders either.
Not at all surprised how good he is at it.

I really like Matt's style. These look (and I'm sure are) very nice, but I'm partial to his fixed blades.

I used to enjoy rubbing shoulders sitting side-by-side with Matt when Larry Bailey was running the Ohio Classic.
Matt makes one tidy knife. There's nothing not to like about his knives, and he's a top notch fellow.
It's great to see his knives on the world wide web.

Matt is the one that got me started on the knife making path (Unbeknownst to him)... I have been admiring his folders from a far. Great work Matt!

Thanks for posting - I wasn't aware Matt made folders - impressive work as always.

Thanks everyone. The folders are new for me. I had the opportunity to go to Andrew Demko's shop and he gave me a two day run through. I learn best hands on like that. I still started out tossing out about half of the folders I made. I have finally gotten them to the point that I can make them fairly consistently and not screw up the lock or something like that. Still doing fixed blades too but the folders are fun.

Ryan, you're right, I didn't realize I got you started. You have already gone by me in the quality and looks of the knives you are making now. Glad to have a hand in that!

Matt has a style you can spot from a mile away. I absolutely love the look of his blades. I'm glad to see that I'm not alone in that.

Here's one I got from Matt. Liner lock 154cm. He swapped the backspacer out for stand offs for me. It's accompanied me through stripping my flooded house lol. I did polish the washers and lube things up a bit. And put a new edge on it recently. Stout little blade and my go to when I carry clipped knives (usually I carry traditionals).

Always enjoyed the aesthetics of Matt's fixed blades and was very pleased once I saw his folders start coming out. Well designed and well built folders. Would love to see some more with a hamon!

Really digging that liner lock SVT, I'll have to keep an eye out for the next one.

Here is my Model 2. Plain Jane Perfect.
