MWG knife is a rough sheath build. No guard for a strap to keep knife in place. So friction wrap around the handle works best as far as I can tell.

I have a couple of knives with that type of sheath, it works great...The strap getting cut is why I had you move it to the front of the sheath on the one you made me...

That's really nice.
I'm sure it is black, but with the stitching and lighting it appears as a very dark brown in the picture to me.

It's almost as if you've not only made a sheath but an optical illusion as well.
