Just got a Kershaw Matte Black Ken Onion Chive.

WOW!

Great little package, fit and finish look first class and very sharp blade out of the box.

Took me a while to get it opened only because I didn't realize it's got a safety!

An added bonus in a small package that will be carried a lot.

Except when I go into the airport, or try ot go into an airport garage where all vehicles are searched!

Where did you get it?

I got one of the uncoated models but traded it away. I want the coated model.
 
I ordered a Shiny Black Chive from Kershaw the other day and the lady told me I should have it around the 1st of November. Hey what do you know, thats my B Day, I can't wait. Happy Birthday to me, Happy birthday to me..........

The flat black chive's are not coated with Boron Carbide. Kershaw made 2000 Flat black chives for Chesapeak coated with Titanium Carbonitride.
