I got my Kapaluas today. Put those heavy old Oakleys away and I love them. They don't weigh and anything and really do improve the glare... any one else as convinced as me at this point?

I'll agree with ya, polarized lenses are like fast cars, once you've tasted it, you never go back :)

But seriously, $250? Are they *that* nice? Even my titanium prescription glasses didn't cost that much

Or, did you find a killer deal somewhere that made it less hurtful?

Revos were umongst the best lenses available for a long time untim Maui Jims came along.
The best you can get IMHO,even if they are a bit pricey.
You get what you pay for.

Sure they are 250$ list, but any time spent on ebay will get them for 175.00 delivered (at least if you find a reputable guy and contact them directly like I did). OK, 175.00 is a lot for sunglasses, but remember, I own many knives costing over a thousand dollars and one that cost 3 thousand dollars. And I have no intentions of ever cutting anything with it!

So, the sunglasses seem like a great deal now.

If you have no intention of cutting anything with your expensive knife, why would you expect to look at anything with your expensive sunglasses? :D

Well, perhaps if I paid 3000$ for sunglasses I wouldn't look at anything with them. ;)

I cut stuff all the time with my 300$ knives.

yuk yuk:D

Maui Jim's are the best sunglasses out there and worth every penny.

Just make sure you get polycarbonate frameless or the thin glass with titanium frames. Makes a big difference in the weight department.;)
