Saturday, 26 January, the day after my birthday, I am getting married again.

I suddenly lost track of all the witty wonderful things I was going to post.

Yep... I got nothin'.

I think it just hit me that I'm getting married again. I'm gonna go now.

Thank you! I was wondering where to do that. "The4th" as in "Joel the 4th." My dad is the 3rd; my son is the 5th.

As far as rings, I'm getting a tungsten, gold, and diamond jobbie. Tungsten to remind me of the weight of responsibility. ;)

My dad and I were joking around a while back. He kept saying he was going to a friends funeral instead of wedding. I finally said, "I prefer funerals. At least at a funeral the guy knows he's dead." Neither my mom or fiancee found it funny.
 
My parents pretty much knew they were getting married growing up in the same neighborhood.
WW II came along, Dad enlisted and Mom went to work in the Pentagon.
He took leave and went down to DC and they got married.

I even know where they got the rings. Grandpa was a jeweler. :)
This is Community Center and not W&C, so ... I wish you two a long and happy life together.

I think that the Princess Bride reference was plenty witty. At any rate, congratulations and have fun storming the castle!

The deed is done.

A local pastor friend of ours drove down to SA to perform the wedding for us. He said he needed the break. Had it not been raining he would have taken his motorcycle; it's a pretty drive if you bypass Houston.
