Max bowie options

I just got a cuda max bowie and think the design and materials are awesome. Unfortunately the fit is a little hinky. The blade has too much play. I can feel it move when doing cutting drills, no target just "shadow boxing" which is not a comforting feeling. It also appears that the edge is contacting the handle frame when the knife is closed. I plan on getting the tip up carry clip and bronze washers for this knife and I am wodering about other after market options. Am I correct that Mr. Ralph will work on these knives? Can I send the knife in for a tune up and fitting of after market parts?
Also on a more cosmetic note I have read somewhere on the forums about aftermarket handle work on Sebenzas, melt downs, anodizing or coatins, anyone know if anyone will do this for the max?

Thanks for any info

As far as the loose fit, have you tried tightening the pivot? If that is tight, look at the the lock up. Does the lock go all the way across? Does it it move part wat way and not engage the tang of the blade?

If the blade is touching when closed the spacers when closed, you will probably want to send that back to Camillus for repair.

Darrel might be willing to do some work. What he will do is limited, so you need to contact him to find out.
