Max-Hacktive Duty!!!

Thank you Garth for turning my Max Duty into a Max-Hacktive Duty! The Max Duty has a larger than normal choil for an AD so I thought that enlarging it to a usable choil would make the most sense. I'm planning on using it during this fall's hunting season. It's so much skinnier than my Boney Active Duty, I knew I had to give it a try. Losing the talon hole really gives it a caper profile. Let me know what you think but I'm thinking it's quite cool. :cool:

Nope. It was cheap IMO too. There may be a run on Max-Hacktives now so you better get ready Garth! :D
 
That looks great.

Does anyone have a pic of an AD alongside a Max Duty? It looks like the Elmax Duty has a different profile, less of a dropped point, more belly, less pointy in general.

Don't have a pic of the two, but you are correct in that the two are different designs to a degree. I was at BossHog's table real late on induction night @ Jock & Jills, when he had mentioned that they completely redesigned the handle on the Max Duty. I do believe the blades shapes are different, as well.

I was going to pull out a few other ADs to picture alongside it but my wife had different plans for my freetime this afternoon. :foot: It is a fuller belly with a bigger choil but the handle seems to be standard AD.
 
Congrats on the Max Hacktive Duty. It looks very comfy. I found a comp pic of my Max Duty and BAD.
