Good morning guys . John Lloyd introduced me to Max Sao ,he's a very talented slipjoint maker from China . He really loves stag. So on this stag Saturday morning , I feel you'd like to see the latest just in . Max's knives certainly deserve to be viewed by everyone who is interested and I feel I'm in the right place here

Max has now upped his product with these items,a storage box,slip case ," birth card " ,and deerhide fob & bead These knives have ss liners ,and a hidden " lanyard post" in the butt

That is a real beauty. I don't care for the recurve blade but that looks like a great job.
Thank you Max really loves the " lines" the recurve is part of his style . I have been communicating :p in an attempt persuade him to design a trapper with a more straight edged traditional blade You can say it is a work in progress

Some nice looking knives at a good price, but I’ll also add not a fan of the recurve. Hope to see a more traditional trapper in the future.
 
Yep, you'll hear a lot of echo's about the recurve, while I'm sure it cuts great, maintenance would be a chore most would not want to tackle.

Question on the embellishments on the scales, are they pinned to the liner?

You can bet I'll post this pic in the stag Saturday thread . Max is currently designing and building a clip point with straight edge . He's a part time maker ,but you can see he goes at it !
