Max the Ax

After doing the last two axes I was wanting to do a couple even smaller. Max has a hand forged head out of 7/8" sq. 1080. Heads 4 1/2", cutting edge is 2 1/2" and a 9" haft out of died osage orange. Weighs 14oz. Added a picture of Max with the back packer ax from a few weeks ago. At the time I thought that one was small.

Incredible ,I am going to show the guys on the Scrapyard forum. I do like the buggy axe a bit better but it would be like choosing between Jessica Alba and Jessica Beil.
