Maxam knives?!

Hello I am a new member and have been collecting manufactured and custom knives for twenty years.
I have a few questions for those of you members who undoubtably have more knowledge about knives than I.

1. there was aquestion posted to a knife group I belong to that asked a question on the quality of Maxam Brand knives, I attempted to answer this question and was unable to find out much info on this particular brand of knives , other than the fact that they are cheap made in taiwan/china. I would appreciate any help on this you could give.
There was another member who is a suppossed dealer of these knives who says he is selling them to our guys in the military and swears he is giving them a good deal as compared to selling them high quality knives , on the par of Spyderco, benchmade, gerber, CRKT, kershaw among others.

2. There was another member who asked for info on a few Browning ,limited edition knives-
1994-FDX alert deer limited #124
1994-Field knife #128
Profile deer GM426
( this was all the info I was given about the knives)

Henckels-
Folding hunter deer head-HK15si, or HK15s1

I would appreciate any info you might have on these.

Maxam is in the same class as Master Cutlery, Joy Enterprises, Frost Cutlery and all the rubbish found in your typical BudK catalogue. :barf:

If this is true he is either stupid, a liar, or ripping people off. Maxam knives are junk. I'd even take United Cutlery over them and I really dislike United's quality.

I've spoken with a few flea market knife dealers selling junk knives and they make Cutco salesmen look like knife experts.

Figures that this guy brags about selling maxam crap to servicemen and women.

Dont think so. A google search suggests sbcglobal to be the SBC/Yahoo dsl internet service. SCB being the phone company.
