Really i'm just curious to know what cups i can order online that would fit the 40oz guyot bottle (same as a nalgene) since i just upgraded in size from a smaller stainless steel set up and my mugs no longer fit?
thanks in advance. here's a pic just for fun and to see the size difference.

The GSI stainless cup should fit the bottom of that perfectly. It isn't very big but its enough for one person. Hope that helps.

+1

I love my GSI Glacier cup. It's a great little piece of kit. Probably one of my favorite pieces, truth be told.

Mmm... pine-needle tea...

There seems to have been some GSI cups that didn't fit over the 38oz Guyot and some that did.
Lisa at TwoWolves has, in the past, checked the cups on a bottle before shipping. Email her and ask if she can.

that 38oz guyot paried with the cup does fit the smaller maxiped bottle holder right?

Yes they should, both over and under the bottle, but a while back, some of the GSI cups didn't fit right for some reason. Maybe a quality control thing with the manufacturer but haven't heard anything in quite some time. Not that they make them to fit these, its just that most GSI cups did happen to fit.
Whether you nest the GSI over or under the Guyot, it will fit in the 10x4.

i'm using the smaller bottle holder and there is room for a cup without a doubt! i just wanted to order the right one and not have to go through trial and error while ordering online. which is a great thing about this forum!
thanks for the help already everyone

I use mine with a regular Nalgene bottle, but these GSI glacier cups are great!!

This is the breakfast of champions!!:)

The GSI Glacier cup we have to nest with the bottles is the 18oz "Bottle Cup Pot". It is specifically designed to nest with the bottles. I like to check them whenever possible before I ship them to make sure they fit and have not had one yet that didnt. To avoid possible confusion, it is the only cup I currently carry. It does fit both bottle holders as well.

Thanks guys for the kind words and recommendation.

Sweet set up porcupine. :)

thanks guys for the help...more money to spend because of this forum....surprise, surprise......haha..

The Olicamp Space Saver cup will also fit on the Guyot bottle. It fits on the larger Klean Kanteen, too. The Olicamp cup has measuring marks.

$5.99 at Campmor.

While I'm in my photobucket, I'll also add that the Jetboil cup cozy makes a nice insulator. I use one for added comfort when partaking of iced drinks. It would probably work for warm drinks, too. Just don't put the bottle in the coals with the cozy on.

what max parts did you use for your set up? i am diggin how you put it together.

MaxP Cacoon pouch, 2" strap and pad, 7x5x2 (low profile) vertical GP pouch attached to a 10x5 bottle holder. The sheath is a Armoralleather Cultellus sheath with a x-loop back that fits perfect next to the cacoon pouch. I piggybacked a Diomede Ind (Talfuchure-forum member) sheath to the culti sheath.
Lisa at Two Wolves(forumite) can set you up with everything you need.

My 12x5 is basically the same but has two 7x5x4 vertical GP pouches on it. I'll use this for cold weather day hikes where I bring a little more stuff with. The bigger size will hold the SS guyot and nested cup and a fuel can. Stove and trail mix/noodles in GP pouch on one side, cell, wallet, smokes gum in other side.
