Anyone with either a Maxpedition 1411 Single Sheath or a Ka-Bar 7" with the hard sheath, I need a favor. I was looking at a custom sheath maker's site and he had cut slots in a pancake sheath for a 7" KaBar to attach at Maxpedition 1411 Single Sheath to it. It gave me an idea. The standard hard sheath for the Ka-Bar has 2 sets of slots already cut into it. What I need to know is that is the distance from the top of the top slot to the bottom of the bottom slot. I also need to know what the distance is from the top of the top strap on the Maxpedition 1411 to the bottom of the bottom strap. What I'm hoping to learn is that the slots on the KaBar sheath are the right distance that I could attach the Maxpedition sheath to it without having to buy custom kydex sheath. If you have either of these products, I'd greatly appreciate you posting the measurements. If you have both and could try it and report back, that would be even better. If this doesn't work, does anyone know of a pouch that will fit on the KaBar sheath?
