I got this Condor II for my B-day at the end of October and have been wearing it on our weekend hikes since. It is hydration bladder compatible and I stole the bladder out of my Hawg and that seems to work well. I'm finding that it is the right size for my day hiking needs, it holds my gear with a lot of room to spare for cameras and snacks for my scouts. This is probably this best pack that I've had for my current needs. I'm finding that Max 10 X 4 bottle holder is perfect for short excursions, and the Condor for longer outings. I'm still sorting the gear I carry (reducing the amount/weight), but I'm liking it. Anybody else tried one out?

Yep,it does. That's actually the problem that I had with the Camelbak Hawg, not enough room for all the stuff I need hiking with the kids, that and the Condor is easier to lash to.....

Same reason I gave away my Mule - not enuf room, especially in winter.

I have a Vulture, but the Condor looks like a great size.

The winter changes everything, doesn't it. We hike year round and my pack gets heavier with the cold....

Thanks for sharing the pack and gear photos. I've been eyeing one of those more tactical style packs for a while. They look durable. What are the specs. on that one? What knife is that you have tucked away?

I've had pretty good luck with the Max stuff, it's pretty tough. The Condor is specs are as follows:

1950 Cu In Capacity
17.5"H X 14"W X 6.5" D - Main Compartment (plus the outer pockets)
100 OZ Hydration bladder
47.8 OZ - empty

The blade is a Busse Hell Razor...
