Maxpedition FEROX folding knife

I don't like the handle design. You want a flat or outward curve/slant for the pinky area. This one your pinky rests on a point or inward slant. That doesn't make sense for leverage and common knowledge of pinky being most important part of grip.

Similar knives in the price range like Rat 1 and KaBar Dozier have good handle designs, more appropriate steel, and not made by a Chinese factory.

5cr13 seems similar to 420hc. If so, it's basically like one of Buck's modern folders (e.g., Bantam) except built in China instead of the USA and priced a bit higher (Bantam BLW is about the same blade length and $25 instead of $30). Doesn't seem too interesting. You can even get a Sanrenmu/Inron/etc. for half the price in a better steel (8cr13mov).

Sorry, can't see what's interesting about it.
