I thought this might be a good place to ask this. Does anyone use a Maxpedition Lunda? I was thinking of getting one in the near future. Was wanting something small but not to small for hiking and bumming in the woods.

I use the Lunada as a general pack. I've used it for day hikes, mountain and street biking, as an EMS standby bag, and a grab bag for just running around. There's just enough MOLLE that I can configure things a little differently for my needs. It's just big enough to carry what I want in most cases. On my day hikes I wouldn't want any more weight than I can get in it since its a gearslinger and all weight goes to one shoulder. I tend to swap shoulders every hour or so in this role. Overall I like it and actually get a lot of use out of it.

I've had a Lunada for about a year and use it as my grab and go pack for short hikes when I don't want to carry a bigger daypack. I also take it with me on the snowmobile and ATV.

It's great for carrying a few survival items as well as lunch.

I added a couple of MOLLE pouches to it for keeping a cell phone and compass or what have you close at hand.

All in all I'd recommend it highly.

Ive been using a Lunada most of the year. Great pack for EDC. I use it as my go bag, and mountain biking.... I love it!!! Fits alot of gear for the size. I think I could easily fit overnight supplies in one....
