Picked this up at a good price in the exchange and since I did, I ordered a few hook and loop pouches.
Although this is the smaller Maxpedition Messenger bag, it is quite large. The shoulder strap has a buckle for quick release and its adjustable for length. The strap is very long. If your tall and have alot of extra padding, this strap will accomodate you no problem. It does not come with a shoulder strap pad.
It is built like all MaxP products and that is to last a long time and take abuse. Here are some photos to check out.

The hook and loop pouches that I purchased in the main compartment are as follows:
On the rear side is a 6x6 hook and loop Utility Pouch on the right and a a 6x9 hook and loop Admin Insert on the left.
On the front side is a 6x6 hook and loop Utility Pouch on the right and a 6x9 hook and loop Utility Pouch on the left.
The loop field on the main compartment walls covers the entire surface left to right and top to bottom. This allows you to be able to move the hook and loop accessories up or down to what works best for your needs.

Thanks for sharing - I've had my eye on that pack and was wondering how big it really is. Any chance of getting pick of it thrown over your shoulder?
