Would someone please give me some feedback on these? I have been considering one for a while, but reviews from users are few and far between. How does it carry for extended periods (and at what weight), overall comfort, likes/dislikes, that sort of thing. Pics are always a plus. Thanks

I have a Lunada. It's my EDC bag. I don't wear it for extended periods, but I do cycle to work with it on my back, weather permitting. It's a perfect size for me; I had a Remora and found it to be too small. I carry a bunch of EDC stuff, lights, multi-tool, knife, batteries, CountyComm peanut lighter, micro pry bar, pocket organizer, etc. It's pretty comfortable to wear, but the strap flares out near the clip and it can dig in to your neck if it's not situated correctly.

Thanks Valpo, and welcome to BF.:) How do you think it would work as an "out in the woods" or "down at the creek" type walking around bag? Lots of bending, stooping and clambering about, with the stuff you carry and maybe a quart bottle of water thrown in?

Thanks for the welcome. The Lunada's sling design doesn't lend itself to a lot of bending and stooping. It's a great urban EDC bag, but IMO, a backpack can't be beat for time in the woods. That being said, I don't use the secondary strap that comes with the bag. I imagine that strap would keep the bag situated a little better. The Lunada plays the role of man purse better than full-blown gear bag. Overall, though, I haven't been able to find a bag that fits my needs better.

I'll try to get some pics with what gear I have stowed in the bag posted here a bit later on tonight.

Thanks for the info. Starting to look like it's not what I'm after, but still would like to see your pics if you don't mind.

I snapped a few quick pics. This bag has several useful pockets, enough that I forgot to photograph the kleenex, germ-x and pain reliever that I keep in the front-most pocket. Regardless, here's the pics of 1) the bag and 2) a typical representation of what I keep in it. It varies, of course. With the contents that are pictured, I can still fit a compact umbrella completely zipped in the main compartment.

Thanks VH. The size looks good I'll admit but I wish it carried better under odd circumstances.

I always figured these things were a practical way to carry gear and gadgets, but when I saw the photo of one in a chair I just realized ... it's a Man-purse!
Put on some tactical black heels and you're all set. ;)
sorry I couldn't help myself

You're not the first. You should hear 'em at work... However, since I ride my bike to work most days they seem to have finally figured out it's pretty practical.
