Great little light, The compass is a handy feature as a backup and using a standard battery certainly helps with availability. Countycomm hada sale on them a while back
 
Definitely a good little light for the price. I know a couple of plumbers and they had me order some for them. They are perfect for clipping to the front pockects of their coveralls because the angle head then points outward and they can keep both hands free to do their work when under buildings or in dark areas.
 
The light can stand strait up for horizontal illumination or even on its side with its head pointing downwards sitting on a table/ cabinet/ ledge for lower vertical illumination- not capable from any other current "gadget" lights I know of. The grip and its activation button is intuitive as well. The light will accomodate nickle metal hydride rechargeables as well. I run mine on 2500 mAh AA batts from the Duracell 15 minute quick charger!
