Just received one of these packs that I found on closeout at L.A. Police Gear. Here it is all packed out. This little pack holds a lot more than I thought it would, and it does so comfortably. All the contents of my previous daypack, a LL Bean model (Bigelow top load with about 2100 cubic inches of room), fit into the Maxpedition Falcon Pygmy. Lots of latching points and tie-on spots for more gear if needed. It appears to be a well-built, well-thought-out design. Woodland Camo was the only offering, but I rather like it. So much that I subsequently ordered the Baby Condor (also on closeout) for a hunting pack.
I'll try to get a pic of all the contents all spread out at some point, but here's a quick list:
First Aid Kit
Silva Compass
K&M matchcase with matches and backup compass
Leatherman Charge Ti
Buck 110 (soon to be replace with HR-LM when I get a sheath)
leather gloves
sunscreen
LED flashlight
Princeton Tec Aurora headlamp
polypropylene underwear
Goretex rain hat (Outdoor Research Seattle Sombrero)
survival kit in stuff sack (lots of goodies...more than I want to list right now)
REI Elements breathable rain jacket
Red Ledge Thunderlight breathable rain pants
zip-up fleece jacket (Campmor)
Becker BK-9 with more basic survival gear in sheath pouch (interchangeable with a number of other large blades)
100 feet of paracord
water bottle in outside pocket
sunglasses (in case) in outside pocket
