i saw over at candle power forums a thread about this. its on the knives multitool sub forum. it seems those responding to it also have some serious issues with their quality. the only people who dont, bought their stuff from them years ago.

i'm in the market for some gear and they are the only name i know about.

thought i would get some additional good or bad opinions here before i purchase their stuff

i'm not the poster of the original thread on CPF

thanks............Bill

Great bags and they stand behind them, I have the Fatboy , Devildog, pug .they are all holding up great. :D

Great stuff. I have A newer Fatboy in Khaki, an M2, a Mini Roly Poly, and a Medium cell holster. All of them are new and I have yet to find an issue with any of them.

if there is a problem with maxpedition, it is that they are overengineered to the point of ridiculousness (is that a word?). So much so that there is a consideable penalty to be paid in weight--you wouldn't want to take them camping. but for EDC--they are the bomb. Great stuff.

Maxpedition stuff is good but i have one complaint.

Some furry stuff is coming out of the holes in the padded section of my fatboy. I don't know why they use that type of padding in there. It's now just ugly looking.

I've had an M1 waistpack for some time now with zero complaints.

I've just received my new Fatboy S type and while I haven't yet had the chance to use it there was nothing obviously wrong with it when I was playing around with it after unpacking it.

I've got the medium cell pouch that I carry every day, no problem at all. I've also got a Roly Poly strapped to the headboard of my bed for dumping my EDC stuff in at the end of the day so I know where it is all the time.

I've been thinking about getting a few M1s to have around too. They make great stuff and I've never had a problem with any of my stuff.

I do like Spec Ops stuff better overall though, but that's just me.

I've carried a Fatboy for about a year. Zero problems, it's just now starting to look a little used.

I have a Proteus as well as the M1 and M2 pouches that I haven't had any problems with and I just got my new Falcon in today and from the looks of it I could throw a grenade inside it and it wouldn't even do anything... ;)

...unless I pulled the pin first. :D Seriously, though, no quality issues here.
