Boring rainy day report:
I picked this up for a song and wanted to try some mods I had seen others do. I might pass this on to a buddy, but for now I got it dialed in and its a pretty comfy ride!
Note: the stock Sabercat does not come with suspenders or away of attaching some. That's were the mods come in.
Using stock USGI H suspenders
The Sabercat has rings on the top for attaching a shoulder strap. Perfect spot for the suspenders.
The front straps is a problem and has not attachment points. So I threaded nylon straps and used some spare parts to create an attachment point.
The Sabercat has lots of room inside and typical Maxpedition over organization (pockets everywhere). Also it's padded on the inside.
