Maxpedition Seam Colors

Looking at various photos of the Maxpedtion M1 and M2, it seems as though there's a signifigant variation in the color of their seams among pouches of the same type.

M2's:

Could somebody tell me which models are more current, those with the black seams or the lighter, somewhat white color? BTW, I've also found similar disparities in the olive and tan colored pouches as well.

I'm not sure about the stiching, but I have two OD M1s that have the same color stiching but are different on the back. One simply has the PALS on the back and the other has two vertical strips that are attached at the top and have buttons on the ends that attach on the bottom. I actually like this one because I don't have to use Malice clips or zip-ties. It makes it much easier and faster to move it from an attached position on my pack to an attached position on my belt. I'd be curious to know which of my M1s is the newer version vs. an older version.

I don't know, but DON'T ask over at USN! Not sure what it is but some of that gang (and we have some overlap here) have got a bad case on about Maxpedition. Don't know (or care) what it is myself. I own some of their gear that I am pleased with.
