Maxpedition Sitka PALS question

Has anyone attached a RAT to a Maxpedition Sitka? I am asking because the PALS webbing on it look a lot wider that the PALS that I have seen on other Maxpedition products. I have used the MOLLE locks on my RC-3 and my Maxpedition Jumbo and it was a nice tight fit. I wouldn't want my RAT to be floppin' around on the Sitka.

I am wondering what would work better, the MOLLE back sheath, or the MOLLE locks on this wider PALS webbing on the Sitka?

I will check when I get home. I have a Sitka and an RC-4. Working the night shift so will post tomorrow when I get up.
 
It flops around on the PALS webbing. I changed min over to carry on the shoulder strap. Most everything you put on the PALS webbing flops around.
 
Thanks guys. Specifically I am wondering about the PALS ladder on the side of the pack. Would it be a better fit with the MOLLE back?
 
It doesn't hold it tight, but it won't fall off. The molle might work to keep it tighter.
 
Grover6, are you saying the MOLLE back might work better?

on the side or strap, I find it more secure w/ 2 locks. I have an Izula on the side now which works great
