So I asked for a Maxpedition Sitka for one of my Birthday / Fathers Day gifts. Who out there owns one, and how do you like it?

I have several Maxped packs that I use alot. the Sitka Gearslinger Khaki is my EDC bag for everything. very well made, very versatile and easy to have with you and maneuver regardless of what your doing.

The Sitka is the bag I take to work, and everywhere else, every day. I am very happy with it. It is a good size for EDC, and it is easy to access at all times.

I have one and love it. It's the bag i use for day hikes and photoshoots. I just hump it around Blade for three days full of knives, a lap top, and other gear. It's my favorite pack at the moment.

I have one also, love it. Sometimes it is a little too small, though. In the pics I saw on the internet I thought it was going to be bigger. Kodiak might have been a better choice for me.

Got one in khaki, it is a bit on the small side but I believe this is a good thing because with only one strap you should not overload it. I use it a as a light hiking and computer bag. Finish is very good (Maxped seems to have had some issues with the Pygmy), tuff and the slinging motion works well. Combination pouches that work well with it is the Janus on one side and also the edc on the front. For all the other pouches (m series, etc.) if you put them on the side you notice them when your arms swing.

The sitka is geared for a bladder, if you prefer water bottles then the pygmy might be a better choice because the one water bottle holder on the sitka tends to unbalance the bag .
