So, funny thing, I got them installed..but cant undo them..lol. They seem very durable, and the fit is flush and tight. Just difficult to install. Glad I settled on what I installed, because I cannot get them undone..which is probably a good thing. Not bad price-wise, i like that they arent pre-installed.
 
did you loop them through both sides of the buckle? You only need to pull it through one side, and hook it with the "tail" of the strap. I did the same thing too, and needed to use pliers to get them undone. I love 'em. I don't swap stuff that often, but it is handy when I do need to. I do like having a separate strap to attach molle with, the 5.11 system works, but I don't like that it limits which rows it uses.
