Maxx blade delays????

I just tried to order a Maxx and was told that they are on backorder due
to a blade problem that would cause a two week delay. The dealer told
me that Camillus discovered a blade quality issue and held shipment.
Hooray for Camillus not sending bad product out. I'm sure the Maxx will
be well worth the wait.

If it's not to nosey can anyone comment as to what the problem was??

This info was correct,....a few weeks ago. I posted a couple of weeks ago that we were halting the introduction of the CUDA MAXX due to some unforseen componet issues. We have since rectified these problems, and began shipping the knives 3/28/02. We are sending them out as they are finished. Most of the dealers that I have talked to that have recieved theirs sent them out to backordered customers the day they came in....so you might have to wait until CAMILLUS and the supply chain catch up. If you want one, I would suggest that you get a order in to one of our Dealers that buy direct from CAMILLUS, such as the ones listed on our website on the "Links" page.

Will, the edit was Ok. I wasn't sure that this was even a polite
question to ask. Your edit made it polite, thank's.

As to the Maxx I orderded from a very reputable dealer and will
gladly wait until the next shipment arrives. Thank's a bunch for
your response.
