Yeah, that's totally my challenge now. Hauling wood while on crutches may or may not suck hard. Guess I'll have to make a harness to which I can attach a logging chain. I could also try to enslave a few bodybuilders to make my shelter. Or I could learn telekinesis. Whatever comes first.
3 feet all around of insulation in an hour? nfw. even when i tried this prepped, it took 3 hours. it still leaked. even KNOWING better, i couldn't do this in less than 2 hour without busting a hump. i'll buy a drink for anyone that shows me different

German construction with a good application, garners attention.
Man, what a good thing that I do that by default! (Care to explain what "German construction" is?)

This Is going to be a fun contest, I just hope we get a couple days without rain! When I was little I used to build little forts from branches and brush but nothing like this, so hopefully it will be a good learning experience as well as a fun one!
I grew up in socal and never really did any of this stuff. Been making up for lost time the last few years. I've built or at least helped build 2 lean to's , and 2 debris huts, never anything fancy. I'd love to try that wigwam.
