Guess what came in today?

This is my first Barlow/Charlow and I am absolutely thrilled with this knife! It's as near to a perfect EDC for me as I can imagine. I seldom consider buying a second of the same model but...

Well, I'm glad he didn't get this one.

BTW, this one's permanent home will be in the black Pocketslip that was shipped along with it. Love those slips!

Great knife...the KSF guyz got into my wallet just a few minutes ago as well, with my being strong armed to buy a single blade #15 spear point Barlow from them. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in Boston's south side again.:o

Yeah, I've got a list. I've considered direct deposit of my paycheck with 'em each month. It would save time. ;)

Great pic addylo! I ordered a #15 this morning from knivesshipfree, will be my first GEC barlow/charlow as well.

Congrats on finding your Precious :)

This one here has taken the #1 EDC spot in my small rotation. It's just a delight to carry - slim in the pocket and I LOVE the African Blackwood scales.

Nice. The ebony oops.... African Blackwood....was my second choice. i purchased a yellow bone. It is a real nice knife.

Glad to see those Barlows being adopted by certified knife nut . . . ..umm people, yeah, people!:D
Nice pics!
I'd like to see a pic of the black knife slip, addylo. Do you mind?

Here ya go!

I originally took a couple pics of the black slips but figured the brown leather slip showed the knife off better.

And as for my "last knife for a while"... OK, I'm already looking at other Barlow/Charlows.

The new spearpoint sure looks nice... :o

addylo, beautiful knife! I have a spear/pen ebony Charlow on it's way to me. The pic with the silver dollars is FANTASTIC! Enjoy the knife!

Well, if you don't mind, that picture of the tcb and silver dollars is my new background photo. I love, love, love silver coins for some reason. Not sure why, but they are really cool. Coupled with that knife.....drool.

Not to get too far off topic, but do you collect silver coinage, or just something you had around?

Thanks. Those were passed down from my grandfather who hoarded them in his day (when the coins were new). They've been in that same box since he owned them. The box itself is an antique by now.

I usually keep the coins in neat stacks but had carefully laid them out for that photo.
