DC-53 hs been around for a while. It was first called to our attention by a cutom knifemaker / forumite that sent us a sample to test a number of years ago. He'd been getting it from a source in Japan and had been maing custom knives with i
dc-53. He thought it was good material. Then our prototype guy lost the piece for more than a year. He finally found it and we finally were able to test the material more recently.

It's a good material and tested well.

I would guess that it's an option for a Mule in the future.

Looks good! I wonder what the rust resistance is like, seems like a semi stainless if judging by the composition.
