Maybe DIJ was right....

Danny advised us not to use the net as a reference because more time would be spent verifying the source material than it was worth. But it is always exciting to look at different points of view and speculations. Some of Danny's position is that it is now beyond speculation. You're not neccesarily nuts if you believe Earth has been visited by other life.

I've been disapointed in Mars speculation ever since the famous 'face' was seen in a greater resolution. No face.

Thanks Munk, I just thought it was pretty cool regardless of the alien element. It also makes me want to hurry up and get to Mars so we can figure out what all that looks like from the ground.

My problem with the " better image " of the face at Sedona was that the government had that picture first then released it. While there may not be anything there, if there was I can easily see them giving us a false picture to throw people off the scent, that is my problem with all pictures of mars, we get them second hand. If I were as rich as Bill Gates I would be organising a trip to Mars as we speak, ancient civilizations or not the idea of being on or at least near another planet is just too enticing but Especially Mars since it looms in our consciousness so much and because of the hints that maybe, just maybe, there is more there than we realize.

I no longer discount this point of view out of hand. There is nothing wrong, and in fact much right, with an independant, or other than Federal Government look at Space.
