the scales on my new Mini-Commander (#152) smell like those red paper roll caps after they've been shot.
Very Curious... I need a nap.

I'm new here but I'm having a tough time figureing why you would be shooting at the scales on your mini-commander.

BTW have you used or perhaps someone at the factory used a amonia based cleaner on the knife. If so the smell might resemble the smell from amonia compounds in gunpowder.

You know it's funny. When I origionally took the clip off of my CQC7B, it smelled like sulfer. Perhaps the same smell. How odd....
