"Mayo Holes" in a Dodo?

Can I put some "Mayo holes" in the handles of a dodo?

Or will that weaken the handle too much?

Thanks for the info, I was thinking of putting in some .25s right across the centering, baring intereference with the locking frame.

G-10 is super easy to work with. For drilling, you just use a backer board to keep the material from breaking out when you drill it. Or, drill from the outside in where breakage is less noticeable. Countersinking the holes will cover up any breakage anyway, as this mod shows. G-10 sands, drills and machines like butta!

The dust is not too nice, but wear a respirator and clean up the stuff and it's no problem.
